Responsibilities: To work closely with the regional office in the renewal of project related legal documents - and with Corporate legal department under their guidelines and overall supervision, and ensure all documents are kept as per security procedures To keep accurate records of all valid licenses / certificates / all site land and marine equipment, and to ensure, that all renewals are carried out prior to expiry deadlines To monitor all associated operating documents of equipment and advise Plant and Equipment Department with accurate status reports. To ensure all staff residential / camp facilities are prepared / maintained to an acceptable level, and to ensure accommodation availability based on staff category is planned and arranged well in advance of requirement, this through clear guidelines and close liaison with the Facility Manager To keep the senior site management updated on all staff recruitment / mobilization / material management issues through accurate daily progress updates To prepare the necessary budgets for setting – up of new agreements and ensuring adherence to Regional office policies & procedures To ensure dissemination of clear guidelines for negotiating and finalizing local purchase agreements with third approved parties and suppliers, and to keep accurate files for audit purposes To liaise with Regional procurement in the requirements for imported materials, and ensure the tracking of payment / delivery is as per required timelines, through a weekly ordered material status report To work with Regional finance with the provision of accurate information so as for them to prepare Letters of Credit, and they are provided in time to meet the necessary delivery timelines To ensure adherence to quality standards by local vendors as well as on time delivery of services and goods agreed, and that the concerned policies & procedures are followed and to keep track with clear weekly L.P.O. status reports To monitor and follow all applicable central and state government regulations, as required for setting up / running a Project, and to ensure all concerned Business Support staff are aware of such regulations To ensures 100% compliance with all safety regulations, statutory safety compliance and related laws, and to monitor the external workplace for any updates to all regulationsRequirements: Degree in Commerce / Finance Additional Business Qualifications a strong advantage 8-10 years in a similar position, preferable in a construction environment Worked with complex financial scenarios both in budget development and budget tracking Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Outlook Excellent Financial awareness with a strong understanding of accounting processes Strong communications skills in spoken / written English Strong Interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail |
